"A friend of mine suggested I try the Sport Clips in the Costco Center. It was a little hard to find next to IHOP. I was greeted by a freindly staff that said Hi Welcome to Sport Clips. I had about a 20 minute wait. I got a great haircut and the triple play which included a massaging shampoo and hot towel treatment. They gave me some discount cards as a first time client. Great Haircut at a fair price. Good addition to Mission Valley. Oh, since I had to wait awhile they told me I could call on my way in and put my name on the list."

"Simply put, avoid SportClips at all costs! I have been getting my hair cut by the same stylist for a year, so when she moved it was time for me to go somewhere else. I saw SportClips in the Costco shopping center, so I thought that I would give it a try. I went in there, and there was nobody in there, so they took me right away. They have a few different haircut options, so I opted for the MVP, which includes the haircut, hot towel, and shoulder massage for $24. I was paying $25 at my old salon, so I figured why not. Even though I was the only customer in there, she was rushing through the haircut. I was surprised when she didn't offer to shampoo my hair before the haircut, even Supercuts does that! She instead doused my head with her water bottle, and just started cutting away. While doing this she made a horrible attempt at small talk, so I just watched the college basketball game on the TV next to me. The entire haircut, shampoo, towel, and massage lasted 20 minutes...hardly a relaxing experience. She finished, I paid, and left. The next day, I show up to work, and my coworkers ask me what's wrong with my hair. I tell them nothing, but they tell me that I need to look in the mirror. My sideburns were off by a half an inch! In addition to that, according to them, I had the "state of Florida" hanging onto the back of my neck. Maybe it was my fault for not looking very closely in the mirror after she finished, but after a year of having my own stylist, I didn't think that I needed to! The bottom line is that for $24, you can get a haircut from an experienced stylist that actually cares about her work, rather than somebody trying to churn you out like cattle."

"My fiance gets his hair cut at this location all the time and the staff is always very friendly. He always gets a good haircut for a good price. The staff is always nice to me and asks me if I need anything while I wait. He is always very happy with his cut."

"Nice place, never had a problem, I read some comments here and I was surprised about how negative they are. Just to let you guys now my experience in this place has been great. I hardly wait more than 20 minutes for a haircut. I am always greeted with a smile, the MVP is the best if you don't mind paying a few extra bucks for a relaxing time. the whole experience should be between 20 - 30 min."

"OK what's not to like about this place? Sports on TV, all female staff, clean interior, prices are ok,. I like that you don't have to worry about a dude cutting your hair here, like at Supercuts or somewhere similar. Who wants some dude shampooing your hair? Why do you work here? They always do a good job make sure you tell them what you want or your just asking for trouble. Plus I like that there is not that awkward need to make small talk with the person, I just like to watch the game get cut and get out. But really one thing is the hot face towel is this always necessary? It could be 90 degrees outside and they are still trying to put this steaming hot towel on me. Oh and they vacuum your hair when you come back from the shampoo so your just not standing in it later."

"No issues. Came here to get my son a cut. San diego is pricey as it is. So kinda dislike how expensive a simple boys cut is. wish they had a cheaper price for kids under 12 or something. But my son likes the cut and hot towel, and sometimes massage in the senior varsity and mvp package."

"RAISING TO A 5 STAR because Melisia is great. Definitely worth the wait! I like it! There are plenty of places that offer haircuts and some that offer a variety of hair services and I never know how it's going to turn out. I have left some places looking like I cut my own hair looking into a mirror cross-eyed! Haircuts are haircuts, for guys it's not that big of a deal unless you don't have much hair left. It's going to grow back in 3-4 weeks (Hopefully) so don't sweat it, just get your hairs cut and if you can catch some sports, have a decent conversation, then it turns out to be an enjoyable experience. I like Sport Clips, the last two times I have had Melina (hope I spelled it correctly) cut my hair and she has done a great job. I have gone to a Barber in north county for years and I love it but I am just not up in the area very often. A barber cuts guys hair all day long, that is all they do and they do it well. I think that's why I like Sport Clips. They do one thing and they do a pretty darn good job at it. Go see MELISIA in Mission Valley if you can. The MVP is great, spend the extra couple bucks and treat yourself to it!"
